We know that you have all been waiting for us to put something up from our road trip...so here it is!
We left Arizona on August 28 at 3pm for our 3 week road trip!!
Our first major stop Tennessee. We got to Tennessee on Sunday Aug 31.

So for the first 3 days we were just driving and stopping at random hotels! It was lots of fun playing car games and singing songs with Jaime. By the way Jaime was FABULOUS!! We knew that Jaime was going to be good in the car, but we had no idea that she would be as good as she was. We stayed in Tennessee for 3 days! Jaime loved the dogs at Dick's house and all of the farm animals too! What a fun time! It was great to see all of our family!
We hope to see everyone again soon!

Next stop Myrtle Beach....and just in time for tropical storm Hanna!!!!
Myrtle beach is so beautiful! It has been a few years since we were there. It was nice to be back! We stayed at a beautiful hotel right on the beach! As soon as we got in to our hotel room Jaime ran over to the sliding glass door by our balcony yelling water water lets go!! Maybe she remembered the beach from New York?? Adam's cousin John came to stay with us in Myrtle Beach! First night we took a late night swim!! Jaime loved it!! We all had fun!
One of our FAVORITE times in Myrtle Beach was learning to play Yahtzee!!

The beach was great and the pool was even better!
Later on that day we went to "Broadway at the Beach." It was so much fun just walking around and going in to all of the shops. We stopped at Pizzaria Uno's for dinner! They did not have 4 cheese pizza! Very disappointing! When we got back to the hotel we all played Yahtzee (again) and at midnight someone turned 30!
When we woke up in the morning it was so nasty outside...too nasty for the beach or pool so we decided to do some shopping in town! BIG MISTAKE!! Tropical storm Hanna came and it was not pretty! We were in a Christmas store (yes I said a Christmas store) and it started to pour so hard! Thank goodness we weren't too far from the hotel! We spent the rest of the day in the room watching the ocean creep up to the hotel!

Next stop.........Atlantic City, NJ
Atlantic City was also a lot of fun! Jaime loved the boardwalk and all of the casino lights. We went to the Rainforest Cafe our first night! That was fun! Jaime had a great time! We actually went back to the Rainforest Cafe for our second night because Jaime liked it so much!

We decided to stay at a hotel in Bayside, Queens
(down the road from where we used to live)
It was a decent place....we didn't spend much time there as you can imagine!
We did all kinds of stuff in NY. First day Loni got a lunch break surprise!!

Over the next few days that we were in NY we went to the park with Jaime and with whoever was around to join us, we went to the Museum of Natural History, and we had lots of lunch and dinner dates!!! We are so glad that we were able to spend time with so many different people! We hope to visit NY again soon!
